Socceroo defender Matthew Spiranovic has been ruled out of the upcoming internationals against Germany and FYR Macedonia after suffering a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old suffered the injury during Western Sydney Wanderers' AFC Champions League clash with FC Seoul on Wedneday.
Spiranovic will be replaced by fellow 2014 FIFA World Cup defender Bailey Wright, who has recently been playing a lead role in Preston North End’s march towards promotion in England’s League Two.
