The Qantas Socceroos will play an international friendly match against Denmark in Copenhagen on 2 June 2012.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today confirmed the fixture would be the final warm up match before the 4th round of 2014 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Qantas Socceroos Head Coach Holger Osieck said he was delighted to be able to play against such quality opposition as Denmark prior to the final phase of the qualification campaign.

“Denmark is a highly regarded football team with a well-respected coach in Morten Olsen,” said Osieck.

“The Danes will be a week away from their opening match for Euro 2012 when we meet in June so we expect to face a full-strength and motivated opponent.”
