The Socceroos have moved up to 58 in the latest FIFA world rankings released today (Thurs).
After two relatively easy wins in FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™ Qualifiers over Bangladesh and Tajikistan in early September, Australia’s ranking has improved.
Australia was at 61 in the previous month’s rankings.
Jordan, who face the Socceroos on October 8 in a crucial World Cup qualifier in Amman, have tumbled eight spots in the rankings to 99.
