Socceroo defender Bailey Wright wants Preston North End to establish themselves as a Championship club after signing a new two-year deal at Deepdale.
Wright played a major role in the club’s promotion to the Championship last season and has been rewarded with an upgraded contract to keep him with the Lilywhites until 2017.
"I'm delighted to extend my time here, I've been here for six years now and I'm looking forward to making that eight at least,” Wright told the club’s website.
"There's been some ups and downs but it's great to see the last few seasons we're certainly on the up obviously with the promotion last year.
“We're all looking forward to Championship football now and the challenge that lies ahead and it's nice to be a part of it and give it a good go and to know I will be here for a few more years."
