Schwarzer answers your questions

Qantas Socceroos goalkeeper, centurion and legend Mark Schwarzer answers fans questions ahead of the World Cup qualifer against Jordan.

When the Qantas Socceroos took on Lebanon last week, Mark Schwarzer became the first player to earn 100 A international caps for Australia.

Before the friendly in Beirut, we asked fans to put their questions to Schwarzer, via the web, facebook and Twitter. If there was anything they ever wanted to ask a Qantas Socceroos legend, this was their chance.

And in between the Lebanon game and training for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Jordan, we tied the big man down and put the best questions to him - when he first started as a goalkeeper, if he still wears his childhood shin pads, whether he still feels nerves and what do he think was his best game ever.

The Qantas Socceroos resume their FIFA World Cup qualification campaign against Jordan in Amman, at 7pm on Tuesday, 11 September (2am AEST, Wednesday, 12 September).

The Qantas Socceroos return to Australia in 2013, for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Oman at Sydney-s Stadium Australia at 7.30pm, Tuesday, 26 March, followed by Iraq, at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 18 June.

Tickets for both matches at Stadium Australia are on sale now through Ticketek or via phone, 132 849.
