Mat Ryan’s Valencia has been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League after slumping to a 2-0 defeat at home to Lyon on Thursday morning (AEDT).
The Socceroo gloveman was left on the bench for the second match in a row and had to watch on as goals to Maxwel Cornet and Alexandre Lacazette handed the visitors victory.
