Tuesday-s match against Indonesia was closer than most expected and Indonesia got out of the blocks quickly when Andre Socrates scored after just 1 minute.
It didn-t take the Futsalroos long to get back in the game though, with Luke Haydon grabbing the equaliser.
Lachlan Wright extended that lead in the 9th minute with the first of a double and three minutes later, Miles Downie was on hand to make it 3-1 at the break.
Indonesia made the Futsalroos work hard in the second half and brought the score back to 3-2 from a Deny Handoyo strike.
Stung into action, the Futsalroos took back the initiative soon after with two goals in a minute from Scott Manson and a second goal by Wright.
Socrates grabbed a late consolation for Indonesia, who must beat Malaysia in their final group game to progress alongside Australia to the semi finals.
