Mitchell Langerak

The 26-year-old is one of a string of fine Australian gloveman and has been a part of the squad for both the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil as well as the successful Asian Cup campaign in January 2015.

He is currently the No.2 keeper at big Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, while he is understudy to Mat Ryan for the Socceroos.

Langerak started his professional career in the Hyundai A-League with Melbourne Victory, making his debut in 2008 before becoming the club’s first-choice a couple of years later.

A superb shot-stopper, strong in the air and good with his feet, it was no surprise that big clubs from Europe would snap him up and he joined Dortmund in May 2010.

He has become a much-admired member of the Dortmund squad, involved in two championship wins and a German Cup success.
