Westfield Matildas co-captain Kate Gill has been ruled out of the upcoming matches with New Zealand after suffering a hamstring injury.
Westfield Matildas Head Coach Hesterine de Reus has made a change to her squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against the Football Ferns (New Zealand-s Women-s National Football team) in Canberra on 13 & 16 June.
Newly named Co-Captain Kate Gill has been withdrawn from the Westfield Matildas squad due to a hamstring injury and no replacement player has been named at this stage.
Australian and New Zealand have previously met on 41 occasions at senior Women-s international level with Australia victorious in 26 matches to New Zealand-s 9 wins.
The Westfield Matildas are currently ranked 9th in the FIFA World Rankings whilst the New Zealanders are currently 20th (as of 22 March 2013).
