With only 20 days left to the start of the Hyundai A-League season, Qantas Socceroos captain Lucas Neill said fans can help teams lift to win games that feel lost.

"Fans bring energy and create atmosphere," said Neill.

"Players buzz off this. Fans can help win games that feel lost and they get to feel all the emotions football creates."

What are you looking forward to about the start of the new Hyundai A-League season? I hope to see exciting games and players impressing for national team call ups. I'm interested to see the impact of Harry (Kewell) and Emmo (Brett Emerton) have on the Hyundai A-League.

Who got you into football? My family encouraged me from an early age to play football and I have loved it all my life.

Football's a major part of your life, what does football mean to you? Football was my dream and now I live that dream. Most of my life experiences have been through football. I am lucky enough to have seen the world and football has provided this chance.

What's your favourite football moment? It would have to be celebrating with fans in Stuttgart, after we qualified for the Round of 16 at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
