Juric finds the net for Luzern in Switzerland

Caltex Socceroos striker Tomi Juric scored a sensational goal as FC Luzern came from behind to record a superb away win in the Swiss Super League on Monday morning (AEDT).

Luzern trailed from the 20th minute against Grasshopper and looked on course for a narrow defeat until Juric equalised with 10 minutes left.

The Aussie frontman produced a cool finish from inside the area after Christian Schneuwly’s cross was chested into his path by Yannick Schmid.

That goal proved the catalyst for a rousing finish by the visitors, who took all three points with a second goal just a few minutes later thanks to Schneuwly’s assured finish.

Juric, who played the full 90 minutes, now has six goals for the season in the Swiss Super League, as well as two assists from 18 matches.

The win has lifted Luzern up to seventh on the ladder, just two points off the Europa League qualification places.

Elsewhere and there was disappointment for Aziz Behich and Bursaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

While Behich played another full game, his side lost 1-0 at Akhisarspor to remain in 10th position on the ladder.
