The Joeys have topped Group A of the AFF U-16 Aya Bank Championship 2013 with a 3-0 win over Vietnam in Naypyidaw, Myanmar last night.
Daniel Maskin scored the first goal in the 19th minute from a free kick and Jackson Bandiera scored two second half goals to ensure that the Joeys went through the group phase without dropping a point or conceding a goal.
The Joeys will play the second placed team from Group B in the semi-finals of the AFF U-16 Championship on 31 August. The winners of each semi-final will meet in the final which will be played on 2 September.
