Caltex Socceroo skipper Mile Jedinak has made an impressive return from injury but couldn't help his club Aston Villa who lost 2-0 to league-leaders Newcastle United in the Championship on Tuesday morning (AEDT).
After being sidelined for more than a month with a groin injury, Jedinak was rushed straight back into the Villa midfield for the clash at St James’ Park.
The 32-year-old played 71 minutes before being replaced by Albert Adomah as the visitors chased a way back into the contest.
