Irvine sees game time in Hull's 2-2 draw with Ipswich

Jackson Irvine was a 68th minute substitute for his English Championship club Hull City overnight, but he couldn't help the Tigers seal the three points overnight.

A late goal saw Hull give up a lead to draw 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town at the KCOM Stadium.

Goals from Jarrod Bowen and Nouha Dicko had seen Leonid Slutsky's Hull City come from behind to lead 2-1, but an Ipswich equaliser two minutes from time saw the points shared.

Irvine played an important role in Australia qualifying for their fourth consecutive World Cup earlier in the week.
