The Matildas are looking to convert their growing combinations to goals as they take on France on early Sunday morning (4:30am AEST).

Defender and Matildas captain Clare Polkinghorne believes goals are just around the corner for the Matildas.

"We've come off a couple of disappointing results but in saying that everyone is fit and healthy and ready to go and ready to play well.

"We are creating some chances and I think the more chances you can create the more you can score. The positive is that we are getting into those goal scoring positions.

"It's a nice ground with a big stadium. Hopefully we get some people to fill the crowd and play some good football.
