For Angela Fimmano though it has provided her with the opportunity to play with and against the best women-s players in the country and helped her develop her game and provide a platform for representative honours.

Fimmano, who will turn 17 later this month, comes from a proud footballing background with uncle that once played for the Qantas Joeys, although she would like to go a few further and represent her country at senior level.

As a member of the Westfield Young Matildas she is heading in the right direction.
