A sneak preview of the demand for tickets to this game was revealed today at Melbourne-s Federation Square, as a small allocation of general public tickets were released by Minister for Sport Justin Madden, Commonwealth Games athletes Clinton Hill and Scott Martin, Motor Racing Legend Mark Skaife and AFL star Nick Riewoldt. The Socceroos - Greece clash marks the start of the Australian team-s World Cup campaign, with the whole Australian squad making the trip to Melbourne to take on the European Champions. Directly following the fixture, the Australian team will leave for Germany so Melbourne residents are being called on to give the team a massive farewell before they take on the football-s best in the World-s largest sporting event.
