Former Australian Under 23 international Richard Garcia has continued his excellent run of form of late, with a goal as Colchester United went into the 5th round of the FA Cup at the expense of Championship side Derby County.

Garcia added his teams third goal and played a major part in the teams second goal, as League One side Colchester won 3-1.

The former West Ham midfielder (pictured in his days with the Hammers) has now scored four goals in his last three games and looks to have overcome the nagging injuries that have disrupted his career in recent seasons.

Garcia was the only winner amongst the Aussie contingent, as Wigan Athletic (John Filan and Josip Skoko), Leicester City (Paul Hednerson, Danny Tiatto, Patrick Kisnorbo & James Wesolowski), Blackburn Rovers (Lucas Neill and Brett Emerton), all bowed out.

Crystal Palace (Tony Popovic), Stan Lazaridis (Birmingham City), Middlesbrough (Mark Schwarzer, Brad Jones & Mark Viduka) and Everton (Tim Cahill) all face replays after all drew 1-1 with respective opponents.

Neill scored a rare goal as Blackburn lost 4-2 away at West Ham, ending a miserable week for the Lancashire side, who lost the semi final of the League Cup against Manchester United on Wednesday night. Emerton came on in the 60th minute for Rovers.

None of Leicester-s Aussie contingent saw game time in Leicester-s 1-0 loss to Southampton, with Paul Henderson, Patrick Kisnorbo and James Wesolowski all remaining on the bench.

Filan and Skoko both started for Wigan in their clash with local rivals Manchester City, with Filan beaten once for the only goal of the game, while Skoko played for 70 minutes before being replaced.

Mark Schwarzer made a return to the Middlesbrough starting side for the first time since early January, as Boro drew 1-1 away at Coventry. Viduka came on in the 65th minute, while Jones was not in the squad.

Tim Cahill was suspended for Everton-s draw with runaway Premiership leaders Chelsea, while Lazaridis played a full game, as Birmingham was held by Championship leaders Reading. Popovic played a full game, as Palace drew 1-1 with Championship rivals Preston.
