Franjic on SBS TV for Spain game

In a treat for Aussie fans, Socceroo Ivan Franjic will be a special guest on SBS TV's coverage of Australia’s final World Cup group match against Spain on Tuesday morning (starting 1.30am AEST).

The Socceroo defender is back in the country after injury cut short his World Cup dream – but not after he played in the green and gold’s World Cup opener against Chile.

The Brisbane Roar attacking defender returned to Australia to start rehabilitation after suffering a hamstring injury during that game in Cuiaba.

It will be fascinating to hear Franjic reflect on his time inside the Socceroo camp during the tournament, playing at a World Cup and the vibe in Brazil.

Coverage of the Socceroos versus Spain kicks off on SBS TV at 1.30am (AEST) with host David Zdrilic.
