Galekovic has been a consistent performer over a number of years with Adelaide United, taking out the Hyundai A-League's Goalkeeper of the Year award on numerous occasions.
An imposing figure and a quality shot-stopper, Galekovic is very comfortable on the ball playing as the last man as a “sweeper-keeper” something no doubt Ange Postecoglou likes.

Galekovic impressed during the 2013 EAFF East Asian Cup qualifiers and subsequent tournament in South Korea and remains a key part of Ange Postecoglou’s keeper ranks.
