We continue the countdown to the World Cup (South American) play-off kick-off of the 1st Leg being played in Montevideo (Saturday 12 November), bringing you up-to-date with all the headline news from around the country surrounding the crucial play-off matches.
Marco Bresciano is unlikely to figure in the first game, with Guus Hiddink hinting that he will save him for the second leg. Bresciano twisted his ankle for Parma last weekend and hasn-t been able to train properly with the team so far, since arriving in Argentina.
Other injury concerns, Melbourne Victory striker Archie Thompson and Bresciano-s Parma team mate Vince Grella both joined in full training on Wednesday.
