It is Invincible's first call up to the Qantas Socceroos squad, although he has previously been a standby player on a number of occasions.

Brisbane born and bred, Invincibile began his professional football career in 1997 with the Brisbane Strikers in the former National Soccer League before moving to the Marconi Stallions. The Qantas Socceroos trained in Portmarnock (Dublin) on Monday and travel to Limerick on Tuesday local time to finalise their preparations for the match which is broadcast live and exclusive on FOX Sports.

Wednesday-s match against the Republic of Ireland will be the first for the Qantas Socceroos since completing their Asian group qualifiers for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in June, and is the first of seven matches over the next eight months.
