RYAN ON THE WIN

"We faced a lot of difficulties [against the Saudis] but good teams find a way to win when they need to."

RYAN ON THE 3-4-3

"The more we play it [the 3-4-3 formation] the more we get used to it the better we’re going to get. They got in behind a few times tonight but I don’t think that’s down to the formation."

RYAN ON THE TEAM’S DISPLAY

"We’ve got to better in those clinch moments when they’re timing those runs in behind we’ve got to be better than them and not allow them to get in behind."

RYAN ON HIS OWN PERFORMANCE

"A funny one. At the end of the day you’re human and can only do so much … it was a bit frustrating I wasn’t able to help the team out with one or two of them [goals]."

WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE SOCCEROOS

"They head to Melbourne to begin preparations for the friendly with Brazil at the MCG next Tuesday night. And straight after that, they'll head to Russia for the Confederations Cup."
