Tim Cahill has revealed he will address his club future and any potential Hyundai A-League move after the Caltex Socceroos' second friendly against Greece.
No press conference with Cahill seems to end without him being questioned about his interest in playing in the A-League and the 36-year-old forward avoided the question on Monday in Melbourne to remain focused on the match against Greece on Tuesday night at Etihad Stadium.
"To be totally respectful to all of you, I think this is something I'm definitely going to address after this game," he told reporters.
"I think it's fair to my team-mates, the boss, the staff... I'm a massive supporter of the competition and I've said time and time before that the door never will be closed.
"But after the camp, we'll be able to address these sorts of questions and see what can happen."
Cahill's contract with Hangzhou Greentown is due to expire on July 20 - midway through the Chinese Super League (CSL) season, which would leave him available to join an A-League club for the entire 2016-17 campaign.
Last year, Cahill scored 11 goals in 28 CSL matches for Shanghai Shenhua but was released only to join Hangzhou.
In 11 games this year, Cahill has scored three times with two goals coming from the penalty spot.
