The Australians were under consistent pressure with Jo scoring a brace and Neymar, Ramires, Alexandro Pato and Luis Gustavo all getting their name on the scoresheet.
Jo opened the scoring on 8 minutes as Neymar beat Ryan McGowan down the left before chipping the ball to the far post.

Ramires was then unlucky to not get his second a minute later as he hit the upright as his side maintained a dominant share of possession deep in the Socceroos half.
