Qantas Socceroo midfielders Vince Grella and Luke Wilkshire have made moves overnight, to Blackburn Rovers and Dynamo Moscow respectively.

Grella-s move was confirmed on Blackburn-s website and will see him link with fellow national team member Brett Emerton at Ewood Park.

He has reportedly signed a four year deal with Rovers and could make his debut against West Ham this weekend.

His move to England ends a 10-year career in Italy, which included stints with Empoli, Parma and his latest club Torino.

Meanwhile Wilkshire became the first Australian player to play in the Russian Premier League, when he signed a three-year deal with Dynamo Moscow.

The move is somewhat of a surprise considering FC Twente is to play its second leg Champions League qualifying tie against Arsenal tonight and he has been an integral part of the first team in the past two seasons.

Both players will be key figures in the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers - Round 4 matches that start in two weeks time (Wednesday September 10) with a match against Uzbekistan in Tashkent. Australia play The Netherlands in a friendly in Eindhoven on September 6.
