The Qantas Futsalroos have rounded off their FIFA World Championship preparation tour with a 3-1 win over Thailand on the final day of the four-team tournament held in Brazil. Despite the win, Australia finished last of the four teams on goal difference, with Argentina, Thailand and Australia all finishing on three points, behind clear winners Brazil, who won all their matches in convincing fashion. On Saturday afternoon Australia lost 6-1 to Argentina, but the win against Thailand was all the more important, as the two teams will meet at the World Championships later this month in Chinese Taipei. Details of Australia-s final two matches will be posted as they come to hand.
