Aussies abroad update

Adam Federici kept a clean sheet for Reading as they drew 0-0 away to James Meredith's giant-killers Bradford City in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

In League One, Massimo Luongo helped Swindon Town defeat Notts County 3-0 at home. Bailey Wright played the full game and Neil Kilkenny was an unused substitute for Preston North End, who won 2-0 at Milton Keynes Dons.

Also in the third tier, goalkeeper Alex Cisak couldn't prevent Leyton Orient from going down 1-0 away to Peterborough. 

In the Scottish Premiership, Jackson Irvine helped Ross County to record their fourth victory in succession by beating Partick Thistle 1-0 at home.

Scott McDonald netted the equaliser for Motherwell in a 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock.

Europe

Mat Ryan kept a clean sheet as Club Brugge defeated Sporting Charleroi 1-0 at home in the Belgian Pro-League and James Troisi supplied the assist for Zulte Waregem's late consolation goal in a 3-2 loss away to Genk.

Mitch Langerak was an unused substitute for Borussia Dortmund in their 0-0 Bundesliga draw away to Hamburg. 

In the 2. Bundesliga, Ben Halloran didn't get off the bench for Fortuna Dusseldorf in a 2-2 draw at home to Bochum. Mathew Leckie also remained among the visitors' substitutes as Ingolstadt won 3-0 at Erzgebirge Aue.

In the Eredivisie, Trent Sainsbury played until the 77th minute and Eli Babalj was an unused substitute as PEC Zwolle thumped Cambuur 6-1 at home.

Mark Birighitti stayed on the bench for Serie B side AS Varese as they lost 3-1 at home to promotion-chasing Bologna. 

Oliver Bozanic came on at half-time but couldn't prevent Luzern from going down 1-0 away to Grasshopper in the Swiss Super League.

Aziz Behich helped Bursaspor to keep a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw away to Eskisehirspor in the Turkish Super League.

Josh Mitchell played the full game and helped Liaoning Whowin defeat Guizhou Renhe 1-0 away from home in the Chinese Super League.

Brett Holman was taken off in the 77th minute of Al Nasr's 1-1 draw at home to Ajman in the Arabian Gulf League.
