Aussies abroad: Socceroo's sensational debut in Israel

Socceroo winger Nikita Rukavytsya has made a sensational start to his career at Beitar Jerusalem, scoring on his debut for the club overnight.

The former Western Sydney Wanderers FC and Perth Gloary attacker swept home his side’s third goal in their comfortable 3-1 victory at home to Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Playing up front, Rukavytsya was in the right place at the right time to tap in at the far post after a swift counter attack.

Elsewhere, Aziz Behich had success with Bursaspor in the Turkish Super League, playing a full game in their 2-0 home win over Eskişehirspor.

And Olyroo Josh Brillante was substituted at half-time as his Como side registered a solid 2-0 win on the road against Novara in Serie B.
