Aussies Abroad Preview: Socceroos duo gear up for Hibernian as Behich aims for three straight wins

There could be two Socceroos lining up for Hibernian in their clash on Saturday as Aziz Behich’s Kayserispor look to make it three wins on the bounce in Turkey.

Over to Scotland where Jackson Irvine could be in line to make his Hibernian debut alongside Martin Boyle as they take on Kilmarnock in the Premiership.

Irvine will be looking to make a long awaited return to the pitch for his new side as they as they aim to secure their first win in 2021.

Elsewhere, Tom Rogic will also be in action on Saturday as Celtic host Livingston.

In the English Championship, Harry Souttar and his Stoke City have a meeting with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Souttar’s Stoke sit in 8th position on the league table with their last win arriving against Rovers in their first meeting on December 20.

Both our Belgian based Socceroos will be on the road this weekend as Trent Sainsbury’s Kortrijk travel to Oostende while Danny Vukovic’s Genk head to bottom of the table Royal Excel Mouscron on Saturday.

Vukovic’s side will be looking to return to winning ways as they continue to fight with Club Brugge for top spot on the table while Kortrijk have enjoyed back-to-back league wins.

In the Bundesliga, Ajdin Hrustic’s Eintracht Frankfurt have a date with Schalke on Sunday while Mathew Leckie’s Hertha Berlin visit strugglers Koln on Saturday.

Aziz Behich and his Kayserispor will be looking to break out of the relegation zone when they travel to Gaziantep for their Turkish SuperLig affair on Saturday.

Consecutive 1-0 league victories has seen Behich’s side slowly crawl up the ladder as they look to clear themselves of the dreaded relegation spots.

In League One, Bailey Wright will be coming back to haunt Wimbledon after his striker-like finish saved a point for his Sunderland in their first clash just under a month ago.

Wright’s Black Cats are without a league win since mid-December with a raft of their matches towards the back end of 2020 postponed due to COVID-19.
