Elsewhere, Shane Lowry-s Millwall progressed to the quarter-finals after a 3-0 win over Luton Town.
There was great news for Crystal Palace and Socceroos fans in the nPower Championship, with Mile Jedinak-s return in a 4-1 win over Middlesbrough. However, Borough-s leaky defence did feature Rhys Williams.
In other Championship news, Neil Kilkenny was a late substitute in his comeback from injury for Bristol City against Cardiff City in a 2-1 loss.
After a stunning debut, Tom Rogic was brought off the bench for Celtic this weekend, enjoying 17 minutes as Celtic hammered Dundee United 6-2. Dylan McGowan also came off the bench, but was a first-half replacement for Hearts in a 3-0 defeat to Kilmarnock.
Elsewhere in the content, Holger Osieck will be pleased to see strong involvement from Tommy Oar and Michael Zullo at FC Utrecht. Oar, returning from injury, came on after 83 minutes in a 2-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven. Zullo, Australia-s left-back against Romania, came on after just seven minutes due to injury - but gave away the foul that led to PSV-s opening goal.
James Holland, one of the players Osieck has foreshadowed for game time against Oman, enjoyed 90 minutes as Austria Wien beat Rapid Wien 2-1 in their derby.
