Socceroos skipper Mile Jedinak was unable to inspire Crystal Palace to win in the EPL this morning (Wed), while Socceroo central defender Bailey Wright put in a towering performance for Preston North End in the Championship.
Jedinak wore the captain’s armband and got through the full 90 minutes for Palace, who were shocked 2-1 at home against relegation-threatened Bournemouth.
The 31-year-old Socceroo captain was involved in plenty of the action, firing a chance over the bar and also setting up a great chance for an equaliser from his free-kick late on.
