It was another interesting weekend of Aussies Abroad action as Mitch Duke scored again in the J2 league while Jackson Irvine and Connor Metcalfe's St Pauli and Alessandro Circati's Parma remained top of the 2. Bundesliga and Serie B respectively with victories.

Starting in Japan's J2 League, where Mitchell Duke (cap #559) played 73 minutes and scored his ninth goal of the season as Machida Zelvia beat Renofa Yamaguchi 2-0 on Sunday to continue their title and promotion celebrations.

In Germany, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) played a full game while Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) came off in the 68th minute for St. Pauli as they returned to 2. Bundesliga action on Saturday with a 2-0 win over SV Elversberg to maintain their two point lead at the top of the table.
Irvine will miss the next match through suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season.

In the English Championship, Sammy Silvera (cap #634) came on in the 85th minute as Middlesbrough drew 3-3 with Plymouth Argyle on Sunday as they extended their undefeated away games streak to six matches. Tom Glover was also on the bench for Boro.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) played a full game but unfortunately scored an own goal while Massimo Luongo (cap #571) came off in the 74th minute as Ipswich drew 2-2 with Birmingham City on Sunday.
Harry Souttar (cap #606) was an unused substitute as Leicester City lost 1-0 to Leeds United on Saturday in the Championship to reduce their lead at the top to four points.
In the FA Cup first round, Kenny Dougall (cap #608) played another 90 minutes with Blackpool in a 2-0 win over National League side Bromley FC on Sunday.
Ashley Maynard-Brewer was an unused substitute for Charlton Athletic as they drew 1-1 with Isthmian League club Cray Valley Paper Mills FC on Monday in the FA Cup first round.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup first round, Alexander Robertson (cap #630) played a full game while fellow Aussie Kusini Yengi came off the bench in the 60th minute for Portsmouth as they lost 1-0 to National League side Chesterfield on Sunday.
In the Scottish League Cup semi-final, Lewis Miller (cap #635) came off in the 81st minute while Martin Boyle (cap #599) came off in the 87th as they bowed out of the competition with a 1-0 loss to Aberdeen on Sunday. Down to 10 men, Bojan Miovski was the hero of the hour as he struck three minutes after his teammate's dismissal to sink Hibs.
Kye Rowles (cap #622) also played another 90 minutes, Olyroo Calem Nieuwenhof started and played 86 minutes while Cameron Devlin (cap #625) came off the bench in the 73rd minute as Heart of Midlothian FC bowed out of the Scottish League Cup semi finals with a 3-1 loss to Rangers on Monday.
Ryan McGowan (cap #546) played 90 minutes for St Johnstone in a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock on Thursday. St Johnstone will be in action again on Wednesday at 6:45am (AEDT) when they host Motherwell.
