Qantas Socceroos goalkeeper Adam Federici has signed a new deal with Reading, which will keep him with the English Premier League club until 2015.

Qantas Socceroos goalkeeper Adam Federici has signed a new deal with Reading, which will keep him with the English Premier League club until 2015.

Federici, whose contract was due to expire next year, said he was pleased to commit to the club, who won promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season.

"I've been here a long time," said Federici, 27, who first joined the Royals in 2005.

"I've put in a lot of blood, sweat and tears so it wouldn't have been right to do anything other than sign again."

Reading manager Brian McDemott said: "He is a lesson to young professionals about what is required to get to the top of your game. His workrate, diligence and desire are second to none."
