NATIONWIDE DIVISION ONE Play Off Date: 17-05-04 * Socceroo Tony Popovic (pictured rear left celebrating with teammates) played a full game and received a yellow card as Crystal Palace lost 2-1 away to Sunderland. The tie finished 4-4 on aggregate, with Palace advancing to the final by winning 5-4 on penalties. Date: 14-05-04 * Socceroo Tony Popovic played a full game as Crystal Palace won 3-2 at home against Sunderland.
NATIONWIDE DIVISION TWO Play Off Date: 15-05-04 * Paul Reid was replaced in the 68th minute as Brighton and Hove Albion won 1-0 away to Swindon Town. Date: 14-05-04 * Joel Porter was replaced in the 79th minute but not before receiving a yellow card and scoring in the 74th minute as Hartlepool drew 1-1 at home against Bristol City.
SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE Date: 16-05-04 * Australian Under 23 Patrick Kisnorbo came on in the 45th minute as Hearts won 3-2 at home against Motherwell. Meanwhile, for Motherwell, Australian Under 23 Scott McDonald played a full game and scored in the 37th minute. Hearts finished the season in 3rd position and secured a UEFA Cup spot. Date: 15-05-04 * Stuart Lovell played a full game and opened the scoring in the 8th minute as Livingston won 4-1 at home against Hibernian. * Adrian Madaschi played a full game, received a yellow card and conceded the penalty that opened the scoring as Partick Thistle drew 2-2 at home against Kilmarnock. Meanwhile, for Kilmarnock, Danny Invincibile played a full game. Date: 12-05-04 * Stuart Lovell played a full game as Livingston lost 2-0 away to Dundee. * Danny Invincible played a full game and created the final goal of the game as Kilmarnock won 4-0 at home against Aberdeen. * Australian Under 23 Scott McDonald was replaced in the 84th minute as Motherwell drew 1-1 at home against Scottish Premier League champions Celtic. * Australian Under 23 Patrick Kisnorbo played a full game and received a yellow card as Hearts won 1-0 away to Rangers. SCOTTISH DIVISION TWO Date: 15-05-04 * Marco Maisano was replaced in the 53rd minute as Greenock Morton lost 2-0 away to Airdrie United. Morton had very disappointing second half of the season and finished in 4th spot, after leading the competition at the beginning of the year.

AUSTRIAN DIVISION ONE Date: 15-05-04 * Eddy Bosnar played a full game as Sturm Graz lost 2-0 away to Karnten. Sturm is in 9th position with one game remaining. BELGIAN DIVISION ONE (JULIPER LEAGUE) Date: 15-05-04 * Socceroo Stephen Laybutt played a full game as Mouscron drew 1-1 away to Lokeren. Mouscron ended the campaign in 5th place. * Archie Thompson played a full game as Lierse lost 3-0 to Club Brugge. Lierse finished the season in 11th position. * Andy Vlahos played a full game as Cercle Brugge drew 1-1 away to Westerlo. Cercle finished in 14th position, two places above the relegation zone.
DUTCH DIVISION ONE (ERE DIVISIE) Date: 16-05-04 * Lindsay Wilson played a full game as FC Volendam won 2-1 at home against RBC Roosendaal. Volendam finished in 17th position and will feature in a play off for relegation to Division Two. * Peter Zois (gk) remained on the bench as Willem II lost 5-2 at home against Ajax Amsterdam. Willem finished the season in 7th position.
DUTCH DIVISION TWO (GOUDEN GIDS DIVISIE) Date: 14-05-04 * Australian Under 23 Brett Holman came on in the 46th minute as Excelsior drew 1-1 away to Helmond Sport. Excelsior missed out on the chance of automatic promotion and will have to rely on a play-off to compete in next season-s Ere Divisie. GERMAN DIVISION ONE (BUNDESLIGA) Date: 16-05-04 * Socceroo Paul Agostino was replaced in the 85th minute as 1860 Munich drew 1-1 at home against Hertha Berlin. 1860 Munich is in 17th position with one game remaining and in serious danger of being relegated. * Frank Juric (gk) remained on the bench as Bayer Leverkusen won 6-2 away to Bundesliga champions Werder Bremen. Bayer is in 4th position with one game remaining.
GERMAN DIVISION TWO (2.BUNDESLIGA) Date: 16-05-04 * Saso Radulovic came on in the 65th minute and scored in the 75th minute as RW Oberhausen won 3-1 away to FC Nurnberg. Oberhausen is in 6th position and will have to rely on Alemannia Aachen losing it-s final game and that both Mainz and Energie Cottbus not winning to get the third automatic promotion spot. * Christophe Teinert came on in the 68th minute as FSV Mainz 05 drew 0-0 away to Jahn Regensburg. Mainz is in 4th position on 51 points, with one game remaining. Mainz will need to win the final game of the season and hope that Alemannia Achen slip up to gain the 3rd automatic promotion place.
ITALIAN DIVISION ONE (SERIE A) Date: 16-05-04 * Socceroo Zeljko Kalac played a full game as Perugia won 1-0 at home against Ancona. Perugia finished the season in 15th position and will play off against the Sixth placed side in Serie B to escape relegation. * Socceroo Marco Bresciano was replaced in the 46th minute as Parma won 4-3 at home against Udinese. Parma finished the season in 5th place and will compete in the UEFA Cup next season. * Socceroo Vince Grella remained on the bench as Empoli lost 3-2 at home against Inter Milan. Empoli finished the season in 17th position level on points with Modena in 16th place and is relegated to the Serie B.
ITALIAN DIVISION TWO (SERIE B) Date: 15-05-04 * Max Vieri came on in the 36th minute and scored in the 81st minute as Napoli lost 3-2 at home against Catania. Napoli is in 15th position, with 4 games remaining.
