It was a golden year for goalkeeper Danny Vukovic, winning the double with Sydney FC as well as earning a call-up to the Caltex Socceroos squad.
His incredible run of form also saw Vukovic earn a move to Belgian club Genk, meaning he will play in Europe for the first time in his career.
And off the field things were just as good, with young son Harley recovering well from a much-needed liver transplant.
