Socceroos midfielder Massimo Luongo looks set to join Queens Park Rangers in the Championship next season, as speculation over the 22-year-old's future continues.
A BBC report suggests the Swindon Town star will sign for the London club along with teammate Ben Gladwin as the recently relegated club bid to return to the Premier League.
Luongo, who signed for the Robins from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, worked with QPR director of football Les Ferdinand and head coach Chris Ramsey during his time at White Hart Lane.
It was thought Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood, who also mentored Luongo at Tottenham's academy and had Ramsey as his assistant while in charge of Spurs, was the front-runner to sign the pair.
Luongo edging closer to dream EPL move
Swindon chairman Lee Power has previously said the club are currently considering numerous offers for Luongo, who was voted in the League One team of the season on the back of a break-out campaign.
“There are a numbers of offers for Massimo. That’s not surprising because he’s been a star for us this year,” Power told the World Game.
"Something could happen this week - we have three substantial offers in from Premier League clubs and we need to sit down with Massimo and his advisors and decide what to do.”
Luongo scored six goals and created eight assists this season as Swindon reached the League One Play-Off Final, going down to Preston North End at Wembley on the weekend.
