Caltex Socceroos midfielder Massimo Luongo has inspired QPR in the Championship this morning (AEST), while Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield moved back to the top of the ladder.
In an all-Aussie clash at the Pirelli Stadium, Luongo’s QPR came away with a hard-earned 1-1 draw against Jackson Irvine’s Burton Albion.

Burton looked like getting the three points when Jamie Ward gave the home side the lead on 58 minutes but a superb assist from Luongo led to Rangers’ equaliser 20 minutes from time.
The two Caltex Socceroos both got through an impressive 90 minutes but their sides couldn’t be split in a pulsating Championship clash.
Elsewhere, Mooy put in another full-blooded display as Huddersfield held on for a crucial 2-1 win at home to Rotherham.
The result has put the Terriers back on top of the Championship ladder, although Norwich could leapfrog them when the play tomorrow.
Mile Jedinak’s Aston Villa had to settle for another draw after they conceded in the 90th minute to draw 1-1 at Barnsley.
The Caltex Socceroo skipper played another 90 minutes for the Villans, who have now drawn seven of their 10 matches this season.
There was also a draw for Bailey Wright and Preston North End, who were pegged back twice in their 2-2 draw at Birmingham City.
Goalkeeper Alex Cisak was involved in a crazy game in League Two, as his Leyton Orient side had two players sent off inside the first 15 minutes, while already trailing 1-0.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Orient only conceded once more – in the 84th minute – as they lost 2-0 at home to Plymouth Argyle.
In League One, James Meredith’s Bradford City have moved up to third spot after a 2-1 win over Fleetwood Town, with the left-back putting in another solid 90 minutes for the hosts.
And in the UEFA Champions League, winger Robbie Kruse watched from the bench as Bayer Leverkusen conceded in the 94th minute as they draw 1-1 away at Monaco.
