On Saturday, Mile Jedinak scored for the second straight match to help Crystal Palace to a 2-0 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League.The Socceroos skipper headed Jason Puncheon's 54th-minute free-kick into the net soon after Frazier Campbell had put Palace in front at Selhurst Park, as the London-based club won their second game in a row.

Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones sat on the bench in the Merseyside Derby as Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton, while in the Scottish Premiership, Jackson Irvine completed 90 minutes as bottom side Ross County ended their disastrous start to the campaign with a 2-1 win over Dundee.

On the continent, James Holland limped off in Austria Vienna's scoreless draw at Grodig, while Luke Wilkshire was part of a big win for Feyenoord.
Just days after being recalled to the Socceroos squad, Holland completed just 26 minutes for Austria Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga before he was forced off with an ankle injury after getting trodden on in a tackle.
