TOMMY TUCKS AWAY A BELTER

It took just 13 minutes for Rogic to have an impact at Celtic park as he lashed home an impressive opener.

The creative midfielder struck a low left-footed drive from outside the box, with the ball taking a slight deflection to dip and swerve to beat Staggies keeper Aaron McCarey.

ROGIC HAS A HAND IN ANOTHER

A goal to Moussa Dembele had the hosts 2-0 up at the break before Rogic shone again to make help add a third.

Another powerful shot by the Aussie was only parried by the keeper, with James Forrest on hand to sweep the ball in from six yards out.

Forrest added another 17 minutes from time to cap a big win for Celtic.

RODGERS HAILS ‘PERFECT DISPLAY

“The players deserve a huge amount of credit,” Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said.

"I said to the players, 'We take our medicine, we learn from it', and this is what this group is very good at doing. We remain very positive, press the reset button and we go again.

"They were excellent in training on Thursday and Friday. We tried something different today in the shape of the team and I thought as the game went on we got better and better.

"It was a mark of a good side that you can respond, score four goals and keep a clean sheet. It was a really good performance. It was perfect.”
