It was an unhappy night for Mile Jedinak in the EPL overnight, the Crystal Palace skipper made another start but gave away a penalty that resulted in the opening goal as Watford claimed a 2-1 win at Selhurst Park.

Bradden Inman continued his rich vein of form heading the equaliser, his sixth goal in as many games, as Crewe Alexandra clawed back to secure a 1-1 draw with Walsall.

EUROPE
Two first half goals saw Mathew Leckie’s FC Ingolstadt go down to Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, with the attacker making an early exit after appearing to pick up an injury.
In Germany’s second tier Ben Halloran was subbed midway through the second half as Heidenheim 1846 settled for a 1-1 draw with SV Sandhausen.
Adam Sarota played a full match for the Go Ahead Eagles as they went down 3-0 at home to VVV-Venlo in the Netherland’s Eerste Divisie.
Defender Aziz Behich couldn’t prevent Bursaspor succumbing to a 2-0 away defeat to Genclerbirligi in Turkey.
Chris Ikonomidis continues to get valuable game time while on loan at US Salernitana 1919 in the Serie B however they were soundly beaten 4-0 by Ternana.
Elsewhere in Italy’s second tier Josh Brillante also played a full match as bottom side Calcio Como picked up a valuable point against the fifth placed Novara.

In the Malaysian Premier League Andrew Nabbout scored the first goal of NS Matrix's campaign with their season opener against Kuantan FA finishing 1-1.
Fellow former A-League stars Taylor Regan and Joel Chianese also featured for the home side who are managed by former Sydney Olympic player and coach Gary Phillips.
Striker Ryan Griffiths opened his goal account for South China, netting his side's second in their 3-0 win over Southern District in Hong Kong's League Cup.
Former Wanderers attacker Tahj Minniecon starred in the Philippines, netting four goals as Loyola Meralco Sparks spanked Pasargad FC 7-1 in the United Football League.
