Maty Ryan moved a step closer to the league title in Belgium while James Holland scored to help send his club closer to some silverware and Daniel McBreen was on target in the AFC Cup.
Ryan’s Club Brugge overcame the concession of an early goal and a 1-0 half-time deficit to beat Sporting Charleroi 3-1.
The Socceroo gloveman made a couple of crucial saves to keep Brugge in the contest before they finished over the top of the visitors late on.

Brugge hold a five-point lead at the top – although KAA Gent has a game in hand – with five matches remaining.
Holland scored just a minute after coming off the bench as his Austria Wien beat Wolfsberger 3-0 to advance to the OFB Pokal final.
The Socceroo midfielder came on with 19 minutes left and barely 60 seconds later had found the back of the net, scoring the match-sealing goal.
A huge final awaits Holland next month.
Meanwhile, recent Socceroo debutant Chris Ikonomidis was among the substitutes again as his Lazio side crushed Parma 4-0 in Serie A.
Ex-Mariners striker Daniel McBreen scored in injury-time as South China AA cruised to a 3-0 win over Global Manila in the AFC Cup.
McBreen’s former team-mate Mitch Duke played a full game in the J-League as Shimizu S-Pulse threw away a three-goal half-time lead to draw 3-3 with Montedio Yamagata.
